Default Revhard or DRAG turbo manifold?

I have both of these manifolds and both are ac/ps compatible and im wondering if one is better than the other. I think the REVHARD looks beefier but both have poor WG location.

Whatever, i own both currently and im trying to decide which to keep between the two... help me decide!

DRAG:

REVHARD:

I would clean whichever one i chose up of course

Thanks

Both arn't very ideal, but if I were forced to pick between the two, it would be revhard all the way.

I'd rather have the blox imo.

They both suck, but the thing with the DRAG mani is the bolt in the bottom middle...that's a biaaaaaatch to get to. Shouldn't be as bad with the the RevHard

I would use either as well. I use a drag mani and it works fine. Just clean it up and paint it with some good hi temp paint thats what I did to mine and it makes it all pretty.

Use the revhard for sure. Thats what im using, and i have no spike/creep issues with a tial wastegate. definately clean it up a little though.

good luck.

chubz0r,

yeah the revhard seems like it has much bigger runners. Is your revhard ac/ps compatible? Also do you have any issues with the wastegate hittin the hood?

I know when i was running the DRAG the wastegate cracked my CF hood

Yeah the revhard is ac/ps compatible. The compressor side of the turbo is on the passenger side. My tial also hits my hood, but i just used an elbow between the manifold and wastegate. So its fine now.

grab an elbow. i dont know where but im sure u can find one just search around here.

It would literally take 10-15mins to blast that, if that much time. Just walk in and ask them how much to bead blast it. They shouldn't charge that much @ all. If they quote you a high price I would just walk out and try another shop.

drag manifold = boost creep at high rpm, not enough relieve for wastegate flow

revhard = not hte best, but i'm boosting 10 psi and got solid 10 psi everytime for one year already., I used it with tial WG

the revhard mani will not fit drag dp is what i was told before. i was kinda on the same boat back then. the drag manifold works fine for me at 7-10psi.

wow....mcdonalds anyone?

but, you could sell both and just buy a log with a better wastegate placement and a downpipe too, more than likely

did anyone find out why the drag manifold creeps. I understand that the wastegate is in a bad location but some have spikes/creeps and others dont???

Rev hard is actually a decent manifold. I been using it for over 3 years with great success. I just went 10.9 @130 using a rev-hard manifold and a sc-61 only boosting 22lbs. I would say its good till around 400-450whp before it starts to rob major power.
