Rev Limit B16 Turbo @ Springs Supertech
First, sorry for my bad English, I am Brazilian, and use Google translator to post.
I have a B16A Turbo in a 93 Civic Hatch, Fully Build
JE Pistons 81.5mm Bore
Eagle H-beam Rods
Supertech Block Guard
OEM ITR Cams
PT6262SP Precision Turbo .82 A / R @ 22 ~ 21 psi
Victor X Intake Manifold
Omnipower 68mm Throttle Body
twin Bosch 044 fuel pump in catch tank, and fuel pump walbro 255 (ETHANOL @ E100)
Injectors ID2000
Hondata S300
Supertech valvetrain (Guides, Locks, Valves, springs)
Retainers KMS
My Supertech Valves Springs, are the p / n SPR-H1002D
Seat pressure 70 lbs - 70 lbs@33.50mm
I wonder what Rev Limit the maximum that I could use this engine? Due to the use of these valve springs "Most Popular"
Thank you.
Heitor

^^That and it depends how long you want the engine to last. If this is your everyday car then i wouldnt go over +500RPM. I know high RPM sounds cool, but it sure doesn't do the engine any good.

Thanks for the answers .. I know that right up the rev limit is where the engine has income.
But I wonder what the maximum RPM that the valve springs Supertech SPR-H1002D (Seat pressure 70 lbs - 70 lbs@33.50mm) can support, understand?
and my car is street car, but only walk him on weekends and in sprint events ... is basically a drag car.
Another question, which SPOOL Billet 6262SP a .82 a / r in a B16A, 81.5mm bore? Because of this issue, I have to see what the maximum RPM valve springs, I know that the turbine is quite large .. as I said, basically sprint car.
Thanks

Re: Rev Limit B16 Turbo @ Springs Supertech
Max safe RPM depends on cam selection and the amount of boost you are running, and also valve diameter (if its oversized).
Generally with ITR cams, you will never be able to run past the limits of these springs. Your car will stop making power well below the maximum point. 9000-9200RPM will probably be the most you will ever run on this motor.
If you are running 30 PSI of boost, then the max allowable RPM will also be lower. So technically, you will never find a good answer.

was thinking of using ~ 9400rpm Rev Limit, then was thinking correctly, sometimes I even down a bit to ~ 9200rpm
Thank you.

Re: Rev Limit B16 Turbo @ Springs Supertech
i dont like it when people say rpm ranges
my b16 cams made power to 8900 and probably would of made power higher but i didnt want to take my stock valvespring higher. tq wasnt dropping off at all
my old roomate made power to 10k all motor with pro1
power shouldnt have been made that high but it was
