The return of The Rice Bowl. Vol.2

Re: The return of The Rice Bowl. Vol.2
Yup! Mine still down for parts. About 400 bucks to go and had some house stuff to attend to first; AC evaporator, major roof leak... Sigh.. What REALLY gets me is that I was at the junkyard yesterday for a part for my daughter's PT cruiser and passed up on a mostly complete LS engine in the only Integra they had on the lot. 300 bucks for a B18B1, minus throttle body and distributor. Another sigh..

Had to more trimming on the mount rather than the shroud.
Got a little bit of trimming and they will be good to go.

Something about a hatch. I have always loved the lines.

Looking good. What fuel pump(s) are you going with and what size lines?

-8 for fuel line and -6 return line.
I originally was going to do dual walbro 255s in tank but I am all about having as few parts as possible so I went with a walbro 450.

It's a little over kill for what I'm shooting for. I'll be running E85 and the 450 is plenty for what I am going for. I wont be adding any power in the future. I already have plans for a different chassis for more power. The only other thing I could see doing to The Rice Bowl is it may get converted to awd.

Piping came in for down pipe. Got my buddy Minh doing all the fab work. I might have my motor home by end of the week. I also picked up another money pit. Who knew slow was expensive too...
Picked this up last week and i can never leave anything stoxk. Waiting for lift and tires to get here but she did damn good on bald trailer tires
This thing is clean. Spent most of its life being towed behind a rv.

My buddy is helping me with the welding. It's been 15 years since I have done any kind of welding so his welds are much better. I bought the tig to learn

That’s looking really cool. 3 inch exhaust should let that dude breathe. I’ve been trying to TIG. And I suck at it, I can mig all day just fine
