I am looking for pics of eks with top mounts to see clearences.

hey man i pretty new to honda-tech just like you, but will get on your case about this post cause i have a couple and your just going to get rude response but if i remember correct go to search and put in "topmount" and you should find what you are looking for.

i have done that just not many eks, bunch of eg and dc though

yeah i hope the only concern is the headlight housing. Just curious of the clearence at it.

all those top mounts displayed... looks like they can put a filter directly onto the turbo or maybe needs a lil fabrication for an elbow

I think it might hit the back of the headlight housing right where it goes on the comp housing.

mines a one fab...and i think it would hit the headlight if i tried to put a filter on there...thats why i dont run one.

why would you heat wrap the hot side piping? are you trying to keep the air warm?

I own a 00 Si, which is the same front end as an EK, i have a full race top mount w/ gt35e. I had to trim a slight bit on the radiator support in order for the compressor housing to sit without touching the radiator support.

i think he was trying to insulate it from the dump tube thats right there under it. i was gunna do the same thing...but decided to just route my dump tube under the car.

My setup is actually going in a 99si, i just used ek cause everyone know the body style, i hope i will not have to trim anything but if i do oh well. It is a neukin top mount with a t3/to4r setup.

Just insulating the DT would be fine. Wraping the hot side charge piping is pointless.
