I HIGHLY recommend Accurate Automotive Machine in Lakeside..its north of La Mesa. They do alot of block work for AEBS (like block building and sleeving) and do ALOT of honda work. They are super nice and really friendly people.

My friend had his b20 block built there and ive had many misc work done. If your talking about an engine they can do it.

it really depends on the work. It took them two weeks to build the b20 motor, resurface the head, and do some other work...although they were really busy at the time.
Ive had somethings done the same day.

I'm sure this is a better place, but nobody replied when I asked about Machine shops in San Diego.
I ended up going to G and G machine (next door to Group 5) I guess they're pricey, but they did good work and it only took a couple of days to rework my head.
I want to check this Accurate Automotive. I asked G and G to take off the pulleys I don't use on my crank pulley, they said $80. I heard of people getting it done for $15.
