Removing forged pistons and installing a new set of same type. Should it drop right in without modif
Replacing slightly damaged je's(lean condition) with new ones of the exact same type. Generally, should they be a direct replacement without machining block

im gonna say that the most correct way is to have the block honed
But if ur trying to do it quick/cheap, i think it would be fine aslong as u use the old rings, reason being, that they are already seated to that hone.
I dont think thats the right way to do it, but thats upto u.
