relocating wastegate on drag manifold??
Ok im almost done with my turbo build for my b16 and part of the build is a Drag manifold. I know some people have issues with the boost spiking and others dont. wouldnt it be a great idea to block of the wastegate port on the manifold, and weld a elbow of the wastegate hole on the turbo. the elbow would actually be welded to the downpipe flange but you get the drift. I mean the wastegate would be placed right before the turbo, and if that hole can regulate the boost for an internal wastegate why not a 38mm??
just some thoughts.
just some thoughts.

that works just fine. but the hole in the turbo for the internal wastegate (which is what is used i that pic for the external wastegate) is usually much smaller than the 35/38mm your wastegate probably is. drill out the hole a little more and it will work just as well as if it was on a 4-1 collector
