idk where to post this topic exactly I was thinking in forced induction since it only pertains to the turbo kit guys. (move if needed) (please not to noob forum )

Hey guys I'm new here to Honda Tech... Ive been lurking this forum for a long *** time as a guest researching and reading like crazy to build my work in progress car right now.

Anyways to the topic at hand... Back in 2004-2006 someone was making Greddy (knockoff) CARB legal stickers for the different turbo kits Greddy had... Great if you live somewhere with strict emmision/BARD/CARB laws.

(like myself SO CAL )

My question is since I haven't been able to find anyone still making these i took it upon myself to make my own...

I was thinking well **** I can't be the only one looking for these... Is there anyone out there that would be interested in getting ahold of some Greddy CARB legal stickers??? If so I would totally be down to start making these for people. Just thought maybe some people on the forums would like these... anyways im just trying to see if anyone has any interest in these if not that is okay i got mine lol...

Also have the ability to make the turbo plaques like these which is nice if you want to make your Greddy like my 19t doesnt have one just look more legitamate to the police by solidifying the information and serial on your turbo into one location and same with my greddy front mount inter cooler.

I hope people need them haha I am trying to make my current build and first Honda build as legitimate as possible. So when a cop pulls me over I will have serial numbers on my turbo and intercooler and I will have carb stickers to match those serial numbers and I will also have the carb documents in my glove box. I figured if I'm going through all this trouble for myself there's got to be other people out there that just aren't as willing enough to do it Like me.

he's making fake carb stickers for people that don't have a greddy kit, or even stickers for kits that were never even produced

Is that illegal? Sure. Are 99.9% of the mods we do to our cars illegal in CA? Yep.

I can see why you guys would give him a hard time for trying to sell something in this forum and even a heads up that there are possible serious ramifications for his actions if he's caught but freaking out that he's doing something illegal seems a bit laughable since almost every modified car in CA is breaking at least one irrational, income generating law.

From what I heard from others that tried this Greddy won't give you one unless you're the original buyer and you have proof of purchase from an authorized vendor.

Okay put it this way. I will only make stickers for the greddy kits that already exist. They should be used on cars that have these kits, as my car does. I havent posted up a for sale thread or anything because there arent any for sale im just trying to see if there is any interest in these? I have the recources to make these. If im making carb stickers for actual CARB #'d documents its not illegal. So let me correct what i was saying... I said you COULD make these for cars that didnt have the kits i didnt say that Me Myself and I was already making those and distributing them.

Secondly, making stickers isnt illegal all it has is free to public information on them (carb number , part number) just because i make a sticker doesnt make it illegal. If someone like myself is using it on a car with the legitamate parts its fine. If you use it on a car without those parts its illegal. I cant stop or regulate how you use the sticker just like Colt cant stop you from using your guns or modifying them in illegal ways.

I already called Greddy and talked to quite a few different people. THEY WILL NOT GIVE OUT ANY CARB STICKERS. I was told if you have them preserve them do anything u can to protect it. (Clear coat) and such.

I will go ahead and delete my previous replies because i can see how bad it sounds, but i was trying to spark interest lol my fault 😅.

I am not "making" fake stickers

I was simply asking if there was any interest in people obtaining these stickers.

I will reprint the greddy carb stickers with valid real carb #'s and part #'s that already exist. This should be seen as im making REPLACEMENT stickers for the guys like myself that have the legit greddy kits and or intercoolers and want to make it more legit and less headache and hassle when the CARB ***** pop your hood "because your car is loud" or you dont have a front plate.

I cannot regulate how people use stickers if they use it illegally that is there own prerogative and will most likely have ramifications if theyre caught.

On an unrelated note, f**k emissions laws. I've never had to deal with them and hope that it stays that way.

Now you know why all of my friends who moved Cali keep their cars registered out of state.

Thankfully my accord is emissions exempt, as is the van (really want to do a 6BT swap lol), my S13 will be exempt next year but my civic and SVT focus have quite a while left until they reach the 25 year old mark.

With the SVT it's not that big of a deal because I can tune the factory ecu. The civic is the real bitch. I doubt the stock ecu would even idle GSC T1s lol.

It will work for the state ref if you actually have a carb legal greddy kit like myself and you just don't have the corresponding sticker .
