with that setup, 450whp should be easy on pump!

for a nice build.

My 84mm/10:1 setup with an SC61, ITR cams, and a VictorX manifold couldn't make 450 WHP on straight pump gas on a hot day, so I highly doubt his setup with a 57-trim, smaller cams, and a smaller bore would.

I see one car at 400 and one car at 395 on pump gas. The 400 car was running a PT67 P-trim and the 395 car was running a T3/T67 HO - both of which are moving considerably more air than a 57-trim, and neither of them have any mention of how long or how hard they were driven. Trying to push 450 WHP on pump gas on a setup like this is asking for a blown motor.

20 psi and 10:1 compression doesn't sound like a pump gas friendly setup to me, but what would I know.

Yeah, upset I couldn't make even more power than BFG's could handle while risking my motor on pump gas. Definitely upset.

He said he wanted to make 450 WHP or more on race gas. Farva said he could do it on pump gas. I said he couldn't do it on pump gas reliably. Doing it on pump gas has nothing to do with his original goals, so pull your tongue out of his *** and move on.

Nice work. You shouldnt have a problem at all getting to your goal even on pump gas. I dont believe your asking for trouble either. You should be set

i say expletive turbo lag, i love how youre using 10:1 comp. i think (although it hasnt been done too much) that somewhat high comp. engines with large/late spooling turbos on moderate boost are a great setup. i cant wait to see what you get outta this thing, cuz im almost the same setup (10.4:1 ls/vtec sc61 etc...) and im quite anxious to know the potential...

good luck and i hope all goes well with your setup. keep this bitch updated!!
bump for typing quite well while drunk as fawk

Nice.

Easily possible to push that. We made 460 somthing on pump gas on a turbonetics kit with just a t3/t4 57 trim, no upgrades. That was 9:1 compression also. That was all the turbo had, but his turbo whould do just fine...

curious how hard the tune will be with that compression ratio. off-boost response will be pretty damn nice though and it should lower the spool time of that turbo a bit
