you'll need to find the right kit based upon the goals that you're looking for. What you've asked is very vague. Hondas are one of the few aftermarket platforms where you have an infinate number of choices. You'll need to investigate what fits your needs first before asking such a question.
I've posted a bazillion times what one needs to look for when it comes to the right equipment. Search around if you'd like based upon my screename, k?

how much whp does 1psi produce on a stock b18b1 engine? 10%?
my main goal is to have a reliable setup. i dont want so much boost i have to worry about my engine burning or blowing a gasket and what not. lets just say i want the car to have a turbo setup as if it came out to the dealer with one already. for example like a wrx or miata... something reliably kinda fast. maybe 180whp-220whp.

1 psi? why waste the time. there are tons of b series kits out there that will produce power and be reliable on a stock motor. just have to make sure you have a good tune.

So, I click on that XS power link, and get a home page. You want which set-up exactly?
Does the "complete" kit come with an Intercooler, charge piping, injectors, fuel pump, resistor box (if applicable), ECU management, a good tune, gauges, oil lines, colder spark plugs, vacuum lines, dumptube? Many kits do not have this included.
Your b18 should have no problems running 6-7 lbs. on stock internals with a good tune. I have seen stock b18's take up to 12lbs. of boost (on a good tune, cannot stress that enough).
If you only want 1 psi extra, you might as well snake a hose from the intake piping into the cabin of the car and blow in it as your driving. Also, good luck finding a wastegate that allows a minimum of 1 psi, the lowest I have seen is a 4 lb. spring.

Be more specific with how much power you want, how much you want to spend, whether you want a high quality kit or ebay stuff, etc..

it depends upon the turbocharger used. the same amount of pressure used from one turbocharger gives a different amount of power than the power given by a different turbo by the same pressure amount. 7psi on stock internals could be 500whp from a GT42, or 250whp from a 50 trim.
