I just picked up a set of 1000cc RC injectors. I looked at the injector number and it shows PB8X-1000. I know there a 1000 cc injector but i am looking more to see if it is a Low Impedence/Peak and hold or if it is a High Impedence/saturated injector. I cannot find this injector on the RC website.

The reason I ask is I have a 91 DA integra. that model car already has the resistor box built in so if in fact this is a low impedence injector I can plug and play.makes it very easy for set up.

I figured there closed at this point ill try, is they are low impedence they should plug and play with a 91 integra right

Plug yes, Play, no. you still have to calibrate millisecond time delay for such a large injector. But they should be low impedance. Only the ID 1000s are high impedance if memory serves

is that not just a setting in the HONDATA S300 to compensate

crudely, yes. It will recalibrate the map to compensate for the bgger injectors but it wont be anything close to right... need to have a retune done

Just probe the injectors with a DMM and you'll get the resistance and know what impedance they are... No need for guessing or calling around.

ID1000's come with the exact data that needs to be input and atomize fuel a ton better.
You can always sell the RC's.....

They're peak and hold, hence the P at the beginning of the RC part number. If they were saturated, they'd begin with an S.
