because under lots and lots of boost, the stock FPR has problems holding the fuel pressure...you also cant adjust the fuel pressure with the stock fpr.

Im at around 60-64psi of fuel pressure at 12psi of boost with the stock fpr with an intank fuel pump. (afc hack)

Practically all fuel injected cars use a 1:1 fuel pressure regulator to compensate for pressure/vacuum in the intake manifold. The aeromotive is just adjustable, and can flow more if you are having trouble keeping rail pressure down with your pump (not an issue with the walbro...)

550cc and 18psi of boost is sort of iffy... You may very well lean out.

I would say 720cc if you are going to boost 18psi. Just not worth the risk in my opinion.

at what psi do 550's become inefficient? i was thinking about injectors today and i wasn't really sure if i should get 550's or 720's.

550's are good up to 1 bar, any higher it just isn't worth the risk

thanks guys, so what are the 720's good for?
maybe I should get a dual runner intake manifold and just get 2 sets of 550's?

1 set of 550's = $259
2 set of 550's = $518
1 set of 720's = $519

I planed on getting the JG manifold anyway (single runner), so would this be a good or bad idea?

just thought of something, with the 8 injectors instead of 4, an extra fuel rail will be required, but will anything else be needed? and how is the fpr connected in a dual runner setup like this?

what about taking it upto 12 lbs for track, a few times a year or so, will they handle that?
