Default rc 370 injector on stock obdII version II ecu..good or bad?

Alright..after the problem I'm having w/ FMAX's two extra injector crap..I've decide to go w/ bigger injector/fuel pump, fmu and stuff..Was gonna go w/ 370 but now after reading many posts about stock ecu can only take 310 ecu.....you guys think I should just get the 310's or stick w/ 370? I have VAFC to mess w/ the fuel but what do you guys think?!?

Im running an OBDII (96gsr) and 450 Venom injectors. I have no problems with it, I just lean it out with the VAFC.

Jeff, what what problems where you having? I thought it had nothing to do w/ the MF2? Just keep what you got until you build the engine and get hondata. Cuz when you go w/ Hondata you'll need 440 injectors anyway.

fix alpha,
how does the car idle with 450cc injectors?
what idle fuel pressure are you running at?

The idle is fine, except for the slight bubble. Also the car always starts right up. The fuel pressure on idle is 44psi. I adjust this with my vortech adj. fmu

Sometimes I get a code 45, but not too often. The only codes Im getting right now is my O2 sensors and a code 54...I believe it's the CKF censor.
When I run an OBD1 ecu (borrowed a skunk harness and a stock 95 gsr ecu) I did not get any codes, even after I drove the car around alot and at the track.

As for the FMU disk, I have the Vortech Super FMU. Don't know exactly what im running, but have been very fortunate with it.

As for the % on the VAFC:
around idle -25% at narrow throttle
Wide throttle above 5500rpm, -15%.

Im boosting 10psi on 112 racegas, and 6psi on the street.

I bet youre running way too rich. Do you have some sort of A/F Gauge? Id look into getting one.

Ive been told that if you run too rich at idle for too long...you can kiss your rings good bye.

HXguy,

I don't understand why my rings will get ruined if Im running rich at idle. Do you mean that my rings are getting saturated with fuel and will burn eventually?
But the highest temp reading is at full boost and at under heavy load not at idle.

Jeff,

Just call Glenn and tell him when you want to meet up. The VAFC is not that hard to tune, but I can show you a base setting.
