Default Raver Motorsports-Scammers?

I didn't know where to post this so I put it here since a lot of S300 users own forced inducted cars. Anyway, I won a brand new Hondata S300 from Raver Motorsports in Visalia, CA on February 12. I called them and Patty told me I could send my ecu to them and they would convert it to vtec and install the s300 and the boost controller option in for me. I got off the phone with her and sent the ecu right away. It is now February 26, I have no ecu, no s300, and they NEVER return my phone calls. I didn't even pay them for the S300 yet. I was supposed to pay when they called me with the total. Now I just want my ecu back so I can take my business elsewhere. The shop doesn't seem like scammers because they are pretty well known. I don't understand why they don't return phone calls. I was trying to run at Street Wars on March 3 but I guess that won't happen now. If they atleast returned phone calls or picked up the phone to update me I wouldn't have made this thread.

That Sux, i dont think Patty would be the one to Scam, back in December of 04 I and Her both won AEM EMS/Uego on ebay for 1100 bucks and 3 other people, we all got scammed for a 1100 , I bought my S300 form them over the summer time, they chipped my ecu and got it back within a week.

i wouldn't think they're scammers either but usps delivery confirmation tells me the ecu was delivered to them. they haven't returned my numerous emails, calls, and voicemails. so i have no choice but to assume the worst for now. seems like a reputable shop with more on the plate than they can handle maybe. i hope they can chime in to make things right.

I know Vernon just went back to school and they have been slammed lately...it is the season for that.

I talk to him about once a week and neither of them are the type of people that would EVER scam someone.

Shoot me a PM with your info and I will see if I can help find out what the mix-up might be. I am also on the East Coast so we might be able to get you hooked up in time for street wars as well, although the weather doesnt look good

I purchased an p28 ecu that was socketed for s200. It was also pre-converted to plug and play into a obd2a car. The first ecu they sent had a bad soilder (pluged it in and it poped some fuses) and I had to send it back. They replaced it and haven't had problems since. This was some time ago but the customer service was fine back then. Hope you find a resolution to your problem.

hey Preet, sorry about the lack of returned calls: that's sh*tty customer service, and not what we've built our reputation on. to ease your concerns first let me assure you that the ecu will be delivered on thurs (2/29). s300, boost mods, vtec added, and 1000cc p&h base map uploaded with functionality tested. if you have any questions or we can do anything for you please don't hessitate to contact us through our business email... that is the one way i can respond timely

by way of excuse for the long delay... regardless of what the delivery conformation says we didn't receive the ecu until thurs (2/22). it was delivered to a neighboring business where it sat for several days before being forwarded to us.

we are not scammers. in fact, we have taken great pride in going the extra mile for our customers over the last 12 years in business. our shop remains open though by appointment only and only for ecu mods and tuning.

again, sorry.
