Random cracked OEM sleeve b18c5 pic I had laying around...
Circa 1999, ITR @ Motorsports Techniques in Hayward, CA.
Things changed a lot since then but I always use this to explain to coworkers, etc. open-deck vs closed-deck.

I know this is an old dead thread but I just wanted to point out that the Motor Looks like a B18C1 and not a B18C5.....

good eye...i had to put the laptop up to my face to see the p72 pistons...then i saw the C1 in the corner...der.

I'll assume you meant all DOHC vtec blocks do. Not only does the 'B18c1' above NOT have one... but neither did 99SI's among other models......................................

my b18c1 has one stock oil cooler on it. they stopped putting them on the b18c1 motors after 95 i believe. (mine is a 95)
