Default Ran the car this weekend , decent times inside

Well i finally got the car out , even thugh the tune got messed up and running rich as hell /
I was pretty imprssed with it , i managed to pull a 12.8 @108 and change on the 1st run with the car, it was at a little under 8psi and pulled 1.9 60ft. . . . . oh yea forgot to mention , street tires
It did get quite a bit of wheel hop cuz i went off the 2 step , but it pulled very nice when it got traction.
i upped the boost to about 9-10 or so and it felt like a 12.40-12.50 run but i let off it at 1/2 track . too much wheel hop off the line causaed the axle t pull out a little i tihnk and the car was vibratin like hell over 100mph so i let off. Im pretty impressed with it being out of tune and on stock internals , Im glad i got a chance to run it before the motor comes out .Ill post pics of the slip and a vid clip of the run later.

Damn Pete. Good job man. I was there yesterday and was looking for you, but couldnt find ya!

Track conditions totally sucked yesterday at atco. Every rwd car that came out of the hole in the left lane went towards the wall. There was about 4 accidents, the worst being Manny cruz hitting the wall cross track---had to be going atleast 150. Car is hurt pretty good, but probably repairable. Also Scranton's Celica causght fire at the end of the track and looked to have a pretty nasty engine/cockpit fire.

This was the worst event Ive ever seen at Atco. Im glad someone made away with a good experience......again, good job Pete.

funny thing is thats the 1st time i raced on street tires in lik 2 yrs. i wanted better, but oh well , they hopped like hell , but when they hooked the power made it get up and go .
yea i was talking to scranton afterwards we were hanging out with thme all day . the car smelled like hell afterwards. . . ewwwww.
my friend in the Pac motorsports car Domnic Conti weent to the wall n his 1st run too , said he fucked up a brand new set of Driveshft.com stage 5's? everytime he got on it it pulled to the right tuff.
very bad day for everyone out there. it pisses me off though i got past 1st round and they said were losing see you back at Panamerican to make up the rest of your rounds. . . hopfully the cars done by then

the 1st run where i got the 1.9 i launched at 5k off the 2 step and spun a little more than hopped. so someone suggested i launched lowwer ont he next one and i went 4500 off the 2 step and hopped like a bitch , pulled the axle out a lttle from the hop and broke the glass out from my fuel pressure gauge under the hood
i think i was better off at like 5k, maybe a tad higher to pull a little while it was almost at the point of breaking loose, kinda like slide it off the line .

Have em already , they only help soo much , tires still play a major role in wheel hop , if the pressures arent right, and launch rpm not right. it can suck big tme

You think you could do better than 1.9 on street tires? Exactly what type of "street tires" do you have, and how low do you think you can get your 60ft? That is about the best I have ever heard of on a boosted R with street tires.
