radiator problem....
i have an aluminum radiator and the nipple that hooks up to the overflow hose came off , ive tried jb weld numberous times and it doesnt hold for that long , can i soldier it???? i was gonna try that and see if it works . what are your thoughts?

Who makes it? No warranty?
Maybe try drilling out the location where it goes and tapping it 1/4" NPT, then using a pipe to hose barb fitting. |

its got a warrenty but im trying it for quick fixes because its my daily driver......

JB won't hold it since they use a ferrous metal base. The aluminum expands twice as much when hot and the JB weld just flakes off. You can probably use silver solder since it melts at a slightly higher temp than lead solder. I don't think that the radiator would get hot enough the melt the solder anyways. It's worth a try!
