Default radiator cap not holding pressure

some specs on my car

98 civic
B18b1 motor everything stock
ARP headstuds
.48ar stg.2 turbine turbonetics turbo
hondata s300
plx wideband

just had a question to see if anyone knows whats going on. sorry for my poor english.

daily driving my boost pressure at 10 psi is steady and everything holds fine. afr is right around where i want them to be.

when it is race nights, i bump up the boost pressure to 14psi. but after one pass, i will open my hood and notice small amount of coolant that came out of my radiator cap. this only happens when i bump up the boost pressure to 14psi. at 10 psi everything is fine.

motor does not over heat. afr is where i want them to be around 11.1-11.5:1afr.

maybe stuck thermostat? i installed a brand new radiator cap but it is still the same. only happens when higher boost is achieved. compression is 200psi across all 4 cylinders. the coolant over flow tank doesnt overflow with coolant. the only thing that bothers me is that slight coolant will come out of the cap once higher boost is achieved. any advice will be greatly appreciated

Start with a leak-down test first with the

radiator cap off. Look for coolant being

pushed out.

Is it tuned to 14 psi? Sounds like headlift and pressurizing the coolant system Or its just getting hotter and the rad cap is weak. is the coolant overflow completely filled and overflowing or just the rad cap leaking

yes it is tuned on 14psi. no the coolant over tank does not overflow with coolant. it doesnt get filled either. just the rad cap leaking. but i bought a new rad cap and it is still the same. i just want to know my options before i pull the head and change the headgasket. motor has only 2,000 miles on it so far
