ok as most of you saw... I have a b16a hatchback turbo. I am running 5-5.8 psi

I raced my friends z28 and I beat him until I got into 4th he passed me when I was at aboput 105-110 so I pretty much won... but I dont think so. its a stock z28 with the best engine package that chevy offers.. my questions are,

how fast are those cars in the 1/4 I want to know exactly

when I raise the boost to 8 to 9 psi I should beat him I am guessing.. Right?

also at night.. only at night by car will give a small POP out of the wastegate, and the car will hesitate at the same time. wtf? the only thing I can think of is I havent checked timing yet, but I am pretty sure its retarded.

and for the record, if it's a 98+ LS1, it'll run anywhere from low to high 13's.
93-97 LT1's will run high 13's to mid 14's.

your friedn cannot drive. because running 5 lbs of boost is NOT going to even break 200 wheel power. so that means you need to win around 10 lbs to beat him. We build a ls motor up and ran 8.5 lbs of boost and barley kept up with one. and that was with a decently build engine too. so think about that.

You car is maybe a high mid 14 sec car now over the 15.1 it "might" pull on agood day with a tail wind stock.

umm..weight can play a huge role. And the type of camaro. And i donno where your getting this high 14s stuff. You can run high 14s with a stock b16a in a hatchback. In a light hatch with slicks i bet 5-6psi from a b16a can run into the 13s easy.

Just take off your downpipe and you should hit 10psi no problem and your gonna **** your pants from the difference it makes. I was able to stay right next to and edge out a 2002 ss with exhaust lid and intake and that was on 7psi on a drag kit on a b16 in an ek. I took off the downpipe and I hit a full 10psi and this thing ROLLS, tell your friend to run open downpipe and once you get over the noise (and smell) you'll never go back
