Race Gas Tune Q's
Ok guys i need to know what kind of timing under race gas you guys are using??
I have the hondata set to 25 Degrees right now at 24psi?? is this too much or not enough??
I plan on tuning for a 12.5AFR on C16 race gas..
Let me know,
Brian

You may be able to bump it up a tad more, but you're going to reach a point of diminishing returns somewhere in the mid/high 20's anyway, so beyond that it's not worth much.

Re: Race Gas Tune Q's (kpt4321)
Right, so what you are saying is that i should be good to go?? Because i know that if i just keep adding timing my clinder pressure will rise, but my power will just stay, once i reach a certain threshold..

Start lower, than increase. Try 20 first, then keep adding timing in. If you make power keep putting the timing back in. If you start to lose power, back off. The difference when increasing timing between 24~26 degrees is that you are adding double the cylinder pressure if you are at the point of diminishing returns, and gaining 5-10whp.
