Default Quick Questions About Turbo B18a

The engine has JE Pistons, eagle rods, arp headstuds and PnP.
RIght now the car has a T25, but I am looking for a gt28rs.
I am also wondering if it is worth adding V-tec.

First, how much additional whp does adding a vtec head typically gain on both turbos?
How many pounds of boost on both turbos would I need to get 325whp for Vtec and non-vtec?

T25s are worthless on a B-Series. You'd see more horsepower by sticking an oxyacetylene torch into your intake manifold. Sorry, but they are too small for your application.

The bare minimum advised for a STOCK LS is a T3, and even those spool insanely fast (like 3000 rpms?), and die off at high rpms.

For your setup, I would advise a T3/T4, GT30R, or GT35R.

T3/T4 is good for about 400ish whp, sometimes more.
GT30R is good for 300 to 450 whp.
GT35R is good for 400 to 600 whp.

Good luck with your turbo setup!

thanks. What model/size t3/t4 do you think I should get for around 350whp?
Is v-tec worth the upgrade moneywise?

For tune, I am getting a custom crome tune from a reputable tuner.
about the turbo, will this work? Is it a good deal?
