questions about parts to a turbo set up
ok so i know the general **** about a turbo set up. but only to the point of needing: turbo, manifold, intercooler, piping, bov, and the waste gate. as well as injectors. what else do i need to have in order to have a proper running turbo car(please exclude, pistons/rods/any engine internals/fuel pump) any suggestions would help.

engine management of some sort. Thats the key to a well running turbo car. You'll also need an oil feed line, drain line and down pipe. hope this helps

Map sensor (depending on power level).
Oil pressure gauge. <- Not necessary, but you should have one.
Boost controller <- unless you want to run off wastegate.
Clutch
I also agree with turbosol, the engine management is the most important part you are missing.

Monitoring system: Individual Guages, TunerView....Ect
Engine Management System: NepTune software IMO
Boost Controller: I perfer Electronic Boost Controller
Upgraded Clutch: Make sure to get a new fly wheel or resurface the original
agreeing with and piggybacking off both previous posts EMS is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR BUILD without it everything thing else is a waste of time.

Re: questions about parts to a turbo set up
zak.. are you serious? sure do talk a huge game and you're asking this question?
but anyways like everyone else said engine managment is a big thing.
save the money a use crome, huy at inline racing is a great builder/tuner and i'd eventually upgrade to a version of hondata or neptune.
Turbo
Manifold
Downpipe
wastegate
dump
b.o.v
intercooler
i/c piping
feed line
return line
misc vacuum hoses
boost gauge
boost controller
ecu/chipped or standalone ems
beefier clutch maybe like a competition clutches stg 4 or something great pedal feel and awesome grip
and a internally healthy engine

Re: questions about parts to a turbo set up
Sounds like me to be honest. When I first started, I only knew the basics. After reading more and more on honda - tech, g2ic, etc you learn more of what you need besides turbo, wastegate, bov, IC piping, IC, manifold, etc.
