questions about 12.5mm lift VS on gsr cams
so i was going high comp N/A all toda, well that changed. ive decided to go F/I but have a question.
quick rundown of my gsr(what ive acquired thus far)
ferrea- guides,seals,seats,locks,valves
Bc- steel retainers
toda- valve springs, cam gears
eagle rods w/ cp pistons9.5:1 81mm
acl bearings
arp bolts (rods main studs fly pp crank pulley)
ati race pulley(picking up this weekend)
ive read/seen stock gsr cams take to boost very well. so i thought about just using them until i can afford/upgrade to a more hp fueled build. im only looking for 375-400 hp...just enough to have fun and get me hurt.
now ive read that you should only run .6mm(may be off) extra lift. my todas are 12.5 max compared to the gsr 10.7/9.6. thats almost 2-3mm difference. should i just go ahead and toss my gsr cams for something else?
