Default question bout plugs for a ZEX set up

a friend of mine has 65 shot ZEX set up on his LS motor...what kinda plug should he run....i heard 1 step colder but some ppl say 2...can anyone help me out?

I used 2 step colder, with no problems

thanks...and that was on a zex kit that u used 2 steps colder?

they work just fine.i have tried every plug and they work the best for me.never had a problem with one except when the car was detonating really bad(that would tear any of them up)

NGK BKR7E gapped at .030

why would u gap them to that????stock gap isnt as good????

The smaller gap is for forced induction applications and is recommended by NGK themselves. You'll get better spark with the smaller gap.

I know this old but Id like to know the same question. Havin trouble findin any good info about the zex kit anywhere

the general rule of thumb from sparkplugs.com is 1 step colder for evry power adder or 100 hp added above stock.

how do i found a hotter or colder plug
then click on heat range.
