Default Question about water pump for closed deck built boosted motor

Im running an AEBS pro sleeved 83mm closed deck B18A1. The car will be street driven including some freeway traveling (250 miles) to seattle to race. Ive heard that for higher rpm your supposed to run a VTEC water pump to slow it down at high R's and keep it from cavitating. But considering its a closed deck motor, should i run an LS water pump to keep the flow up at medium rpm's. I dont wanna be overheating all the way to Seattle. Should i also run w/o a thermostat? Im planning on buying an aluminum radiator to help. Any hints to run this thing with no over heating issues would be appreciated. I know about Redline water wetter, but never used it, any good? Im kinda stressin about this lol. Wanna be able to make it to the H-T meet in the spring in the hatch.

in all my years, the only time ive ever had an overheating problem is when i had a blown headgasket. my most recent street car was making close to 450. (ls/vtec) using a stock civic radiator and fan setup. the car never over heated. even doing stupid highway pulls.

do not run your car without the thermostat, thats just dumb.

Keep in mind that AEBS drills each coolant hole in correspondence with the head gasket. Every single coolant hole on the head gasket is drilled out on the deck.

would it hurt to run the LS water pump though? ive always used the LS water pumps on my LS/VTEC builds and never ad a problem. I just thought that at medium RPM's it would help.
