Question about something I saw at Carlise
I was talking to Modified motorsports at carlise and noticed that he had his power steering bracket still on with the rod conencting to the frame of his hatchback. It looked like he made a custom holder and I am thinking it was to act as another motor mount. Has anyone seen this before or can describe what it does.
I think it is prob to make the engine stiffer. Is there a kit out there or do you have to make your own bracket and bushings? I forgot to ask b/c I was so busy asking about my aem.
TIA

Hmmm...you aren't getting this confused with a hollow looking square that holds the A/C that actually is a mount are you? Otherwise if it really was the P/S I don't see the purpose.

Might wanna PM boosted3g about this, he works up at Modified. Ive seen this car before, but I missed that piece your referring to. I would imagine its just an engine stiffener---keeps the motor from moving during acceleration, almost like free torque but not.
