Question about Hondata S200B
I have a turbocharged Integra with Hondata S200B. I need to change as much as I can for the state ref because I got my hood popped.
My plan is to put on stock intake, header, exhaust, fuel rail, fuel injectors and take out the Hondata S200B. My question is to take out the Hondata S200B, would I open the ECU, pull the chip, take out my OBD2 to OBD1 harness and Hondata box? Also, will the car run after doing this. I'm guessing the stock ECU will be able to read the stock IHE, inj., rail and be able to run fine, but I just want some opinions. Thanks....

Re: Question about Hondata S200B (TurboGS-R)
Bump.
I know somebody here knows the answer to this. It makes sense that the ECU will reset and work with the stock parts, but I just want to make sure...

Re: Question about Hondata S200B (TurboGS-R)
yeah just pull the obd jumper out and connect the stock ecu (granted its not chipped) to the origonal harness, and as long as the injectors are returned to stock there shouldn't be any problem.
when I bought my chipped ecu and s200 I plugged it in to make sure it worked. Sure it ran rough b/c of the stock injectors and the chip that was programed for 550's, but I plugged the stock ecu back in and everything worked fine.

Re: Question about Hondata S200B (Papa John)

There is no "just paying the fine". I have to have it reffed or else I can't register the car and I can't legally drive it. Considering I'm about the only colored person in my town, that would be REALLY BAD for me. The reason I was initially pulled over is because a CHP said I was in the carpool lane 2 minutes after it turned carpool (7:02 am).
It actually doesn't seem too difficult. I just need to change IHE, injectors, rail, ECU and plug the oil return line. The hardest part is probably going to be the exhaust.
