Q? on 92-95 greddy kit on 91 civic si
this id my 1st post in F/I form. I have a 1991 civic si w/ 170,000 miles on the motor. I have used search and looked in other forms but in info is minimal leaving me with half answers that i'm looking for.
Q- will the mainfoild bolt right up to my 1991 si without mods?
- my ecu is OBD-0 so what does that mean for what i need in regaurds to the blue box, missing link.... ect...( in fuel managment)?
- Is it ture that the blue box along with the adjustible boost thingie (in the wastegate) can only handle up to a 8psi?
- if Im' boosting 6.5 do i need the walbro 225whp fuelpump? or stock will work?
- if my stock rods & pistions can take about 200-220hp... that means i can run about 8-8.5 of boost right? (geiven that i have the proper fuel management)
I was leaning towards the all motor B16A route, but thats get too expensive. After driving a LS t3/t4 I would much rather send my money on building up a strong & reasonable turbo charged car. Simply put......... more bang for the buck. I want to put the kit on my stock motor so if i blow it i can just get a ZC.
I've been using this site for the past 4 weeks and have gone through every single topice one by one and almost the same with the force induction format. Most of the people here are very helpful. I'm not very technical (as in swaps, & taking my motor apart) but I'm some-what like a book/magazineworm. thanks guys

Re: I know theres smobody out there YES? NO? (Charlie)
i'm not sure if it will bolt up but i think it bolts up to any d-series manifold so it should. to run stock boost you would'nt need the upgraded pump but it's a good idea to install it. i'm not sure about wiring up the blue box on your car. You could check out:http://pub19.ezboard.com/bturbod16forum. they should have more answers for you.
