Default Pyro/EGT Gauge? Necessary?? What do YOU think?

Hey I am in the process of replacing all my gauges with ones that actually work. I have decided on some gauges but they dont offer a pyro/egt gauge. I always though this was good for 5th gear pulls so that egts can be monitored but im wondering how critical/useful this gauge really is...

How many of you run EGT on your turbo setup? How critical is it really? I was thinking just oil pressure, oil temp, and vac/boost, what do you think? Is it worth sacrificing the gauge style/price i want just cause they dont offer an egt/pyro gauge? Is it even THAT useful (ive heard mixed opinions)

Without individual cylinder EGT gauges you can't really do any tuning with it.

It's nice to have for what you said, 5th gear pulls, but also if it reads cold all of a sudden it a good indication of knocking. I'd say it's like the oil temp gauge.....just a safety tool really and not needed
