Putting my engine together... some help?

ARP Main studs say to use 70 ft lbs and not honda specs, is this fine?

my Pauter rods say to use 50ft lbs? I dont see any strech specs, what should I do?

Should I check anything with Plastiguage since you loose bearing crush after taking the caps off?

Any tips to getting these locks in for the piston pins?

Use OEM spec and lube with oil when torquing your ARP main studs. If you take it to 70 with moly, you may need to align hone the block.
Torque Pauters to 50 and lube with oil and NOT moly. Don't worry about stretch.
Check everything with plastigage. Bearing crush happens every time you torque the cap on the rod, so no worries.
Put the open part of your clip at 11 o' clock when installing and experiment/practice

hey earl, my machine shop stresses a line hone with a studded bottom end. i guess it isnt really that necessary with your method? or since some of the stuff i build for friends is 400 + a line hone would be beneficial anyway it really doesnt matter?
