Put back motor....started it up....OIL EVERYWHERE!
Setup: STock 99Si T3 turbo, 9 psi, VAFC controlling 450cc injectors
Due to my leanness of the VAFC (i had it set to -37% in the higher RPM band ), the car ended up cracking 1 ringland. So i went ballz out and into the motor and replaced it. Bolted everything back together to spec, put on the new T3/T04 turbo, and before we put in the spark plugs, we wanted to make sure we got oil pressure to the turbo. Well, without the plugs in, the car didn't create oil pressure. So we threw in 2 spark plugs and got it to start. Oil came out of the feed line. Great.
But then a puddle of oil was spewing around the oil filter! Drippin everywhere! I was like huh? So I checked the oil filter, and it was on good, no double gasket or anything. So i cleaned it up, we started again while I was under the car. It started to seep down on this black box right near the oil filter.
This black box (oil breather chamber) has two hoses going to it....well, i noticed it was unplugged after the intake manifold was put on, so i kinda just barely put it in. I couldn't get a vicegrip on the hoseclamp, but i thought it was vacuum canister or something along that line.
Im 99.99% sure its not coming from the headgasket, but im pretty sure it looks like its coming from this oil breather chamber...I just thought it had oil vapors flow into it, but it looks like it has a good amount of oil pressure in there?
Does this sound right? TOmmorow i think i'll take off the intake and make sure that thing is on good. Other then that everything went well.

First thing I would check is to see if you cracked the nipple coming off the block where you probably taped in for oil feed.

The oil feed line is bone dry. I just didn't think the oil breather chamber had a lot of oil pressure going to it. Im quite sure this is the problem though. We will find out tonite.

I figured it out.
Headgasket was on upside down
Live and learn I guess. but i was really easy to take off now. Now i wont make that mistake again.
