Project LS TURBO finally done! =D
I've been saving up money and buying up parts for the last 6 months and finally got a chance to put everything on last weekend. the kit consists of:
- 96' completely stock LS motor w/b16 tranny
- T3/T4 garret 57trim/.63ar turbo
- LSD Motorsports Short Tubular Manifold
- LSD Motorsports 2.5" downpipe
- LSD motorsports dumptube
- walbro 255lph-HP fuel pump
- Tial 38mm wastegate
- HKS SSQV bov (knock-off)
- Stealthmode oil line kit
- CCA 6" intercooler
- 2.5" I/C piping all around
- Megan Racing boost & oil pressure gauges
- Turbo XS HP manual boost controller
- Dsm 450cc black top injectors
- Tuned using Crome-Pro
- Currently running 8.6psi (gonna re-tune at 10psi this weekend) AT 12PSI NOW
This was my first turbo setup and I did learn a lot of experience from it. Especially not to buy from LSD Motorsports again. Their downpipe and dumptube didn't fit for ****. I had to send it back to them, so they could fix it. and even after that, when i recieved it back, my dumptube was still hitting against my radiator. it was rediculious. All the parts are brand new, other then the 450cc injectors. As of now, everything seems to run pretty good. there are a few problems that will need to be fixed during the next tuning, but other then that, it pulls pretty hard for 8.6psi
