Project LS GOES 12's At E-Town !!!!
Tonight at Survival Series here at englishtown nj. DrBoosted's car went 12.6 at 108. The car was pushing 9-10 psi depending on gear. The car had everything in it except for the back seats and spare tire. This run was made on slicks as well, pulling 1.8 60fts and even one 1.7 60ft. Pictures and slips will be posted shortly. Wait till we turn up the boost to 15, then we are talking some impressive numbers.

Guys-this is an LS motor, with STOCK CR, forged stuff, but stock CR nonetheless, and on 10psi that's hella quick.

Yeah we got the slicks on it with some lenso's. Tomorrow wich is sunday we are gonna hit island dragway for some test and tune. We are gonna crank up the boost and shoot for 11's.

What are you doing to protect the car so that boost can be turned up? Please give a list of mods, turbo size, engine management, etc..

hey, any idea how much the car weighs (with rear seats and spare out)
thats a very nice time and very encouraging to me as i'm gonna turbo my 93 Teg RS.
today i'm picking up an extra head so i can build it.. hopefully i can find a cheap LS block so i can build that as well, i gotta keep my car on the road.. gotta be able to get to work to pay for all this buildup

Ralphs car aka DrBoost went 11.8 today with 15 psi of boost at 115 mph. He also backed up his runs with a 11.9 at 117 mph.His car is mid 11's capable with 15 psi. The car weighs in at 2700 pounds with driver.
It will be going mid 11's but he needs a cage, cause he got kicked out of island dragway today. LOL

if you run too low of a time for what your car has as far as safety restrictions go. he probably got kicked out for not having a roll cage.

DrBoost should have went to E-Town yesterday (10-14). He would have qualified at least 6th in the quick 8 of the power class. I qualified 8th with a 12.31@95 (rev limiter kicked in on 4th gear at 6k rpm...would have been an 11 sec pass, cause was about to pass my friend with an 11.91@116 run...my 1/8th mph was 90). I qualified because 2 AWD cars blew up in the second qualifying round.
I ended up in the semi-finals. I was the only HONDA left in that class. The other three were DSM's. I got there because Jeff Hill red lighted. Talk about being lucky. That was the first time I saw him redlight.
My friend was not kicked out of the class. They did not even say anything (NIRA or track officials) to him about running 11's, and he ran it twice. But he was knocked off the second round (AWD Talon, 11.4).

We were gonna go to etown but the wait and the money didn't permit us. We rather go to island and get many runs in. The mph's on the 1/8 miles were 91 and the 60fts where 1.7's. So the car is going to go mid 11's on 15 psi. Don't forget this is an LS MOTOR WITH A STOCK AUTOMATIC COMPUTER. When we switch to obdI manual computer and get a couple of bugs taken care of this will be one sick car. The car was not gutted at all. Only back seats and spare taken out.

I ran 11.9 at 116MPH at the NIRA event on Sunday, and neither the track officials nor NIRA people said anything to me. Kinda suprised.
The race between me and Paul (FIxAlpha) would have been good if his car didn't bug out. Might have been an 11.8 run

Nice work Unfortunately, I had a mishap on saturday and it looks like a bent quite a few valves. Going into the dealer on wednsday. BTW Evil, I may be selling a turbo set up. Holla at me if you're interested.

no one will say anything except the people your running against. if you run 11's with no cage (in an event) and anyone running against you complains.....your out, no questions about it. your dq'ed by your competitors.

After the car did the 11.80 at 115 run, and we staged up again, the guy that actually activates the tree opened the door and said that we should try to keep it down a bit since we dont' have a "roll bar". We told him that we didn't expect to have the car in the 11's and he understood that. Basically every track in nj says that anything 11.9 or faster should have a cage and a firejacket. We will be goin to etown this weds to make a few 11 sec passes there. We will just have to see what the officials over there have to say. LOL 
H-Pimp I am really sorry for what happened saturday, but I know it will work out as we discussed at the show.

man etown is the best..i love it...only thing bad...25-30 to race...wtf. im only 17yrs old...i do'nt have loot for that. i wish i woulda went but i had sat's that saturday...

I am trying to make it to Englishtown this Wednesday too. Might try to run a little more boost (maybe up to 13psi from my 9.5 right now) and see if I can run deeper into the 11's. Hopefully they won't kick me out.
