Project car finished, Joined the 11 sec club!!!!! New pics 10-21-03
After months of assembly, wiating on new parts, and re-tuning, it all paid off Sunday at Hallsville Raceway in Hallsville, Tx at the East Texas King Of The Street. Took home frist in the import class, just nosing out Boosted99SI.
The car ran a best Unofficial 11.41, according to the tower, but the printer and the score board both mysteriously had a failure. Two seperate track officials from the tower confirmed the 11.41, but thats all the info on the run I could get.
Had plenty of other runs in the 11.5-to 11.8 range.
Time slip:
R/T .669
60' 1.689
1/8 7.468
MPH 95.03
1/4 11.655
MPH 116.60
After looking at the Datalogs, boost is dropping throu 4th gear. All runs end with me running 6-6.5psi. New waste gate spring has been orderes and will ditch the AVC-R for now
Extremely happy!!!!!!!!
The set up:
93 Civic VX HB
Bone Stock JDM B18C drop (GSR) !!!! (Honda Motors On-line)
Skunk manifold
LoveFab SST manifold (Kicks ***)
Percision SC61
Tial 40mm W/G
3" down tube/exhaust
750cc injectors (for future build-up)
In-tank pump
Hondata S200.
Running 8.5 psi, no creep or spikes The new dyno from Friday at Jotech revealed the peak stayed the same even though we turned down the boost a little, but the mid-range HP and TRQ. went up considerably. All thanks to the new manifold from LoveFab. 320 whp and 234 TRQ. 8.5psi
Suspension:
Koni Yellows with Ground Controll Coilovers
Skunk Front camber kit
SRR rear camber kit
24.5x8.5x13 M&H slicks ( [Major thanks to John @M&H!! )
13x8 Bogart's.
Thank you Tony1, Kenny/Jotech, John @M&H, and Cody @ LoveFab.
Some pics of the car. More pics added as of 8:45am Tuesday

WOW! I am VERY impressed. Only 8.5 psi...that must be only around 300whp. Almost 10's! Manifold looks great as well.

Re: Project car finished, Joined the 11 sec club!!!!! (b18cx)
wow...really decent times...this was the exact same setup i was planning for the winter....down to the manifold, same size injectors, same intake manifold, hondata s200, damn there is no single difference from the setup i planned except the shell.... I knew that setup was good for 11's on low boost...and 10's with about 12psi.... watch he is going to go 10's at about 12psi...i already knew this combination was good for making power...he's probably dynoing at 325-340whp as is...

super clean set up.
it hasn't been mentioned yet, but it looks like someone can drive too. nice 60' and very impressive times for the power.
lots of potential in this car keep up the good work!

damn...i am good...i had a plan and i estimated that at around 9 psi based on my build i'd be pushing 330 on stock block in the 11's...at around 12psi, you should be at 400whp... and running either tens or close....quick turn up the boost, i want to see if my predictions are right

Re: (ironcheftony)
Cost is probably a little more than a kit, But totally out performs any kit. Tuning cost me a total of 600. $250 Spent on tuning with the Spark/Ming Manifold that went in it the trash. Just could not sell it to someone else, would have had a guilty consience.
Oh And all these passes were made on the STOCK axles. Was supposed to have some Gator Racing Stage 2's last Friday, Still in transit somewhere........I think
I'll try to get another Dyno graph, being as the one from Friday has gone AWOL.
