ProfecB question on a boosted DC5
 

Sup guys..my boys running a cybernations turbo kit and using a ProfecB spec2 boost controller. Well he was tuned at 10psi on high boost...car was tuned by Jason (stOOpid). It made good power at 10psi (305whp/225lbs tq) Anyway no one has messed with the Profec or anything but for some reason on high boost it wont boost over 7.5psi. I mean we turned it all the way up to 50 plus % and it still didnt run anything higher then 7.5 psi.....wondering whats going on. The gain is set at 30% and hi setting at 33% and still nothing more then 7.5 psi...he's running a K-pro BTW. Could it have something to do with the Kpro setings? He's got a .5 bar spring in his wastegate. We turned off the boost controller and it only boosted 7psi then.

sounds like a malfunctioning solenoid. I would bench test it.

OK...have you or anyone else heard about this issue with the Profec? I searched but couldnt find anything or anyone having this problem.
