ETD Traction bars for 92-00 Civic

Recieved my ETD traction bars from ETD. Very impressed with customer service and the package came the next day.

Out of the box parts are very clean, Machine work very well done.

VIBRANT 3" flex #46544

This is there 3" by 4" long flex.

I was not impressed with this as it is a 3" diameter but the center punches down to 2 1/4"

Hard to see in the pic but it goes 3" to a 2 1/4" to 3"

Nope just get vibrant stuff here for a good price and next day. Just thought i would post my findings along with other people. You know when you are looking for something and your building stuff you like to plan out what your getting. The 3" flex i ordered set me back a week.

I tried to get some quality party for my exhaust system. After doing some research i decided to shop at ATP.
Alot of people would recommended it so i thought give it a try.
Even thou the parts were overpriced I thought to invest in good quality.
Well i proved my self wrong.

Product:
Code: ATP-FLS-041
V-Band and 3" Machined Flange and clamp Set 39$+(shipping)

Looks nice in the picture, right?
How strong that beauty is>? judge for ur self.

This happen while trying to connect two flanges (Downpipe and Exhaust) and tighten the nut. The stud bended like copper wire. Funny because it was just from hand tight. When i tried to get it lose the nut just flew off. WTF?!

Customer Service:
Basically i called ATP to see whats the warranty on the part. Showed the picture and their replay is the warranty doesn't cover the clamp. So basically they don't warranty their quality and I have to pay for an other one full price. Pay for wha? an other garbage. No thanks ATP.

Hope this feedback helps an other member to shop somewhere else before they spend their hard earned money on ATP "Ebay" quality parts.

Cheers,
Vick.

we use atp clamps often and have NEVER had a problem that looks like you had the nut cross threaded and continued to wrench it.

this thread should be locked, just search and youll find info

^^^ why locked. Something to hide?
It wasn't cross threaded even if it was there is no chance the nut would bend the stud. As for the cross threaded marks the stud was stretched and had hard time taking the nut off. Which explains the easily broken stud.

Cheers,
Vick

lol yeah i have something to hide thats why im still in business. i dont care i just think it would be faster for someone to search for a product review instead of looking through pages and pages looking for a single part that they will use the search for anyways..

I dont see how the stud bent from just being hand tightened.
