Procedure for LS rods in a 1.6L sohc vtec
Yes I did a search and I found nothing relevant.
Before I go ahead and get LS rods for my sohc vtec application what is the procedure for installing them? Like to do need grind any metal out of the way?
And what rods bearings can I use? I just picked up a new set for my stock rods. Can I use them?
Info please.

The small end bore must be re-bushed for the smaller D-series pin and the big end width must be milled to accomadate the D-series crank's rod journals. Any machine shop should be able to do it for you. You'll use appropriatly sized (read: plastigauge) D-series bearings.
