Default Problem with fast-turbo oil line kit....

the silver adapter that goes into the block where the stock oil pressure sensor goes does not seem to fit, it won't even thread into the block, the stock pressure sensor threads in fine. It seems like I received the fitting damaged or the threads aren't sharp or something they seem like they're flat....anyone else have this problem?

because they're closed and i've been trying to figure out why it won't thread into the block....when the stock oil pressure sensor threads in fine but the fitting doesn't...https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1551152 there is the link to the picture, it's the first picture on the page and it's the silver fitting.

I had the some situation with the bspt/npt adapter. I happened to have two which I had previously ordered for my firewall kit. The one that came with the kit just did not want to thread in at all. I did not bother stan for it since the part is like 3-4 bucks, and he had helped me enough. I ordered my stuff from http://www.mcmaster.com and the part number is 4092k81 (I believe). The fittings threaded right in. You can also call stan and let him know as he is very helpfull.

ive had a similar problem but with a differnt kit. went into my z6 block fine, but not my ls. bought the exact same oil line kit again afor the new setup and it went in like butter. ive thought about it long and hard b4, but figured to hell with it since the new kit fits anyways

Hey Guys,

To those of you that have the problem, I need your favor...

If you can send the fitting back to us. I'll pay for the shipping back. I'd like to examine them one by one to see if there's any change in thread pattern.

Some things that you may be able to do to prevent this from happening again.

First off, make you clean the threaded hole thoroughly. Honda uses honda bond to seal the stock oil pressure sender and I have seen some threads is compeltely covered in it and therefore it prevents any new adapter to threads in. This is how some of you can fit it in 1 block and not the other.

Either case, send it back to me and I'd take a look at it to make sure we will never have this problem again.

Thanks Again,

PS:

Steven, your fitting is going out today...good luck..

Thanks Stan, I appreciate the help and fast shipping! Do all the fittings work for every block? I have a GSR block..didn't know if that matters or not

it doesn't matter, they're all the same.

i thought at first maybe you were tryin to put the oil restrictor in the back of the block cause that's the only silver fitting i got when i ordered my oil lines from stan...
