I wouldn't trust it though...aerospace reliability is on a whole other level and I wouldn't ride in an automotive-based engine aircraft.

my dad is an aeronautical engineer and i just showed him the pic and he has built almost that same airplane except the engine was completly different. after he finished building it he only flew it for 22 hours and then sold it to herlong airport here in jacksonville because he said it wasnt a safe design.
