Pressure Loss with AEM FPR??
Hey guys i did a search already and only found 1 post on this which was no help. I installed the AEM FPR last night and noticed that when I turn off the car all of the pressure in the fuel sys. bleeds out to somewhere. I know this because I have the B&M guage. Before I put the AEM on and was stock the pressure would remain in the sys. unless I bled it out. I don't see or smell any leaks, I was just wondering if this is normal or something I should worry about. Thanks

Re: Pressure Loss with AEM FPR?? (CivicEJ1)
What I meant was with the stock FPR and the car turned off the pressure would remain in the system unless I loosened something on purpose to bleed it out. With the AEM FPR when I turn the car off the pressure bleeds out on its own in about 20 seconds. But I can't find any fuel leaks.

um for a stock FPR it is not normal.
but for an aem it may bleed down, as with my aeromotive. you may have a little leaky injector. on a stock fuel system there is a check valve in the fuel pump. it should remain primed. i wouldnt worry about it. i would worry about the aem reg failing. i have seen 2 in the last month have the diaphram fail.

i have an AEM regulator also and i noticed the same thing as you when i installed it. it is just normal operation of the AEM regulator. i think you can change the output port to regulate how fast the pressure will bleed down, but i got mine used so i didn't get any extra fittings.
