Preliminary steps before turbo and which type of oil?
Should be putting the turbo kit on my d16y7/8 mini me sometime next week and was wondering what preliminary steps I should do before I put it on.
my head has about 30k on it and the block about 90k, as well as the timing belt. i should probably change the timing belt/water pump now, but i really don't want to because of the cost and im kinda strapped for money right now haha.
also, what kind of oil should i be using? should i switch to synthetic? i live in NC where it gets pretty hot in the summer but can get pretty cold in the winter if that makes any difference to what type of oil.
anything else or any other advice?
