Precision 6262 dyno 683 whp 2.0 VW
I had been trying for months to find a dyno of a 6262 turbo on a Honda making big power, but could only find cars tuned to ~500 or so.
We dynoed this car, so i figured i would post it here for people to compare to.
VW 16v, 2.0l, stock head, mild cams, E85 fuel, 2x044 pumps, Bosch 160# injectors (ugh Tony??? lol) thru an air filter and a full 3" exhaust with a resonator and muffler. Turbo is a 6262 with a .63 AR.
683 whp at 40-38 psi, and 437 whp at WG spring 18-22 psi.

Fuel pressure is 4 bar static, and Duty Cycle was riding 85%, it's time for ID 2000's!!
Tuned to .79 lambda. How does that compare to your numbers?

Did a car last week with ID2000's on E85. Made 655whp with 50psi base FP and 68% duty cycle, running .78 lambda or so.
Oh, and that was at 9k rpm.

They are more expensive than most. Everyone has to make that determination on their own.
4 Bosch 1600's and injector driver or 4 ID2000's.
Night and day difference in idle quality and driveability, power, and cylinder to cylinder consistency. More power potential. Less parts to fail (no injector driver or resistor needed).
What's it worth in the end?

I've never seen an old school 16V VW motor make that kind of power. What type of engine management is it using? Makes me miss my old 86 GTI that had a 2.0 16V swap in it...

Neither have I, lol, and I went 9's back in the day with a 16v.
Its using my "Lugtronic" brand VEMS ecu. $1200 bucks, includes a wideband, EGT, boost and idle control, great datalogging, etc.
The car is a real street car with air filter and exhaust. it gets driven to work a few days a week.
We might try the .82 and some more cams over the winter.

I had no clue there was a local Volkswagen guy that did EFI tuning.
I'm PM'ing you regarding some things.

Nice, a ton of power, esp. for an old VW!
Since you said you'd been looking and couldn't find any higher power honda charts for a SC6262, here's one we did a few months ago, pretty basic setup on less than 30psi. Still one of my favorite turbos!
631whp/448tq @ 28psi only revving to 8300rpm
84mm lsvtec, 9.0:1 c/r, CTR cams, Victor X, SC6262S .82 a/r.

Re: Precision 6262 dyno 683 whp 2.0 VW
we put a 6765 on the race car about 4 weeks ago - 2.0L GSR engine
T4 with 0.82 A/R
made 760 whp at about 35 psi (sorry no dyno graph to post)
but it had a great powerband, it is still on the car now actually, not sure how much more power we can get out of it with the current setup, can't make as much boost on the b series engines with it as you can the 4g63 engine for instance, those guys are making big power with the 6765
bang for the buck these precision billet turbo's seem to do a real nice job
