Post Your Sleeved STOCK Bore HP
just want to see how much power u guys are putting out with a stock bore, been thinking about going 83 or staying stock bore and just turn the boost up, i want to gain alot of tq, so im just thinking if going bigger than a 81 will benifit me alot, i know one reason i wanna stay stock bore is cause if something were ever to happen, there is room for error, unless if a rod desides to go for a walk and makes a door for its self, lol then im effed, but if u guys can give some input on it, and set ups your running and HP your making on a stock bore, that would be great, im sure most of you are going to say well if your just gonna stay stock bore, then u might as well just stay on stock sleeves, thats very true and i know its been proven, but i think i would rather just have the extra insurance, thanks for the help and info.

Re: Post Your Sleeved STOCK Bore HP (Dual Cam Racing)
I've made 508whp on 15psi with a 81.5mm stock sleeve motor.
On 15psi I went 131mph or so on a 225 bfg. On like 20-22psi I went 141mph on 225 bfg's. I never dynoed it on higher boost so I'm not sure what it makes I can only assume that it makes around 600whp.

I dont really like dynos as a number stand point. I really only use as a tuning tool. I could careless about what the dyno numbers are...I like track numbers more.

Re: Post Your Sleeved STOCK Bore HP (Dual Cam Racing)
Yesterday tuned an ERL sleeved 81.50mm B18c5 with 9:1 pistons, stock intake manifold, SFP exhaust manifold, 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" exhaust, SC61E (not sure if T31 or T350 wheel), Ferrea valve train, 38mm wastegate, etc. on a Land and Sea. The SFP exhaust manifold ended up cracking pretty bad and we were not getting full boost until 7000RPM or so. Only made five pulls due to this. I will get the dyno sheet later but I think it made 371whp and 256ft-lbs @ 15lbs

Re: Post Your Sleeved STOCK Bore HP (alpha)
last year i made about 330 on stock 81mm bore aebs sleeves lsvtec. was done on about 1 bar but 70-80% leakdown out of #2 exhaust valves, so i can only imagine it should have been a good 30-40+ hp more with 4 good cylinders
