Possible to order a standard 50-60 trim T3/T4 with an internal WG?...
I just was wondering if it was possible to get the standard 50, 57, 60 trim with an internal gate? From what I've seen the super 60 is really the only non GT journal turbo that comes standard with it.
Just wondering if it were possible. It would definetly make my new project a whole lot easier.
Thanks!

Look around at some DSM pages, for some reason they like to stay internal(honestly dont care to find out why) and also i know that they offer a t-25 flanged style GT30R with an internal wastegate....Look around ATP turbo a little i am sure you could find out some info

Seems like an un-necessary step, expecially when you are probibly going to be robbing yourself of power in switching...
In a reverse test i saw a car gain 35whp by switching from internal to external, at the same boost levels with no difference in tuning.

This isn't for my honda. There isn't enough room for an external gate with this application.

Re: (Got_soy)
routing the wastegate exhaust gases right by the turbo outlet will rob power. AThats why alot of people dump the wg into the atmosphere or recconect back to the downpipe far away from the turbo outlet.
Simply stated, an increase in backpressure.

Nope he's right. Depending on the setup, some cars can have almost 70% of the exhaust gases flowing through the WG, so it can have drastic effects on exhaust flow.
