plugging up the the oil tap on the oil pan?
What is the best way to do this? Can I just have it welded shut. I need to seal it some how until I am able to find a replacement oilpan. Thanks.

I TAPED MY OIL PAN BEFORE I INSTALLED MY TURBO, SO WHAT I DID TO PLUG IT WAS HOOKED UP THE HOSE AND GOT A PLUG FOR A 5/8 INCH PIPE AND STUCK IT IN THE HOSE. TIGHTEN IT WITH A CLAMP. MAKE SURE TO SECURE IT TO SOME THING.

andy-
If i remember correctly, your oil return setup does not have AN fittings, which is what they are talking about. I think you showed me a picture of it awhile ago, It was a metal tube welded onto the pan with a hose clamped onto it, correct ?
Lots of people on here weld -10 AN fittings onto their pan, then screw the hose fitting on a SS braided line into that. So for that scenario, all you need is a -10 AN cap to thread onto the fitting.
hit me up on AIM and show me that pic again, we can probably figure something out.
