Yo someone translate that if you can. I have two huge *** catalogs and one of them is from a local machine shop right around the corner. They can't even translate what this -3an braided line stuff is.
That's the only thing I have problems with. How big that oil feed/drain line is.

what exactly do they need to "translate"?
most people use -3 feed lines and -10 for the return lines

The AN (Army-Navy) standard was established many years ago by the US military to set a common measurement for hose and fittings. It designates the outside diameter (O.D.) of the ridged metal tube that is compatible with each size of fitting. Still today, this AN dash standard is the benchmark measurement for military, industrial and the performance hose applications. These dash sizes are expressed as the numerator of the fraction, with the denominator always being 16. For example, a -04 port is 4/16 or 1/4-inch.

5/8". I never knew that either, i'm familiar w/ an lines and fittings but never knew the conversion was that simple.. So you use 1/4" line w/ -4 and so on correct? it's by inside diameter right?

-10 an = 10/16" or 5/8" reduced.
