searched. only numbers are D2 602 and .63ar on the hotside

Try Turbonetics forum they have a place on it to help identify turbo's. I didn't see any that started with a D all I found have numbers only . they can also be identified by their measurements. The blue backing plate tells you it's a small shaft and all they sell now are big shaft frames. The support housing two bolt straps could be covering your actual PN: seems how a bolt is also missing looks like it has been apart many times. GL

You need to take it apart and start measuring wheels. That's the only way to figure it out at this point.

I dont think the OP is getting how many different possible variations and how the turbo will act. After having only 2 turbo's both Turbonetics. 1st a 50trim 2nd a 57trim and they were both in a 4b housing.example T3T4OB stage II .48ar, T3T4B stage III .63ar day and night difference in characteristics.

^^ correct. And I have those that can make over 600whp in the same t04b housing. He needs to pull this apart.

I'll have to grab a caliper tomorrow and i'll ****** it apart tomorrow night if I dont have to work :-D
