Default Please help me understand my track times.. thanks

Ok i ran last night on the 8th mile my setup is. b16a2 in a 2000 coupe, full interior, eagle rods, wiseco 8to1 pistons, tial wastegate and drag3 turbokit running at 4psi untill my hondata gets here, and BFG (older ones) drag radials. I ran a 9.26@81mph. now heres the thing i dont get my friend ran his hatch its a 93 hatch striped, b16a (stock), tialwg, drag3 at 9psi, M/t Slicks and a dualstage rev for the launch. and his time was a 8.2@81 mph. im pritty sure its my hole shot as my tires spin out till the middle of 2ed gear. I tried droping the pressure and it helped a bit, but no mater who i launch the second boost builds i spin, then when i shift into 2ed my tach does not really drop from 8grand, the car just catches up. then 3ed im ok. Any ideas??? i can afford slicks right now but its looking like my only hope. sure once i get the hondata i plan to have it tuned for 12-15psi **** with injectors and 8to1 compression i should be ok right pluss the help of the 2 stage launch and full throttle shift. But still its no good if i cant get traction oh and i dont have any wheel hop aat all so thats kinda good. thanks for all the help!

work on your launch, and hhow come your running such low boost? just being safe or what?

On the track my car really does not use the bottom end, I mean sure i notice a little in daily driving but at the track my turbo spools prity fast as i launck at 5000-6000 prm (seems to work the best). Then the car never drops below 6000rpm so im good to go. The thing about the boost is that i blew my motor with 7psi when the old deltagate over boosted to 20+ and the motor poped. so Im just kinda scared to run it higher than 4psi untill i get my hondata. i did get the tial so i hope that takes care of the spiking. for fuel right now i have a bbk intake and the drag inline pump. what psi could i run with it still being safe...remember its 8to1 compression. also i did try 7psi at the track last night once but then i got a worse time, 9.7@79mph as i span all first and second. well thanks for the help this is really good. keep it coming!
