Please dont hate, give me a guestimate on WHP
Hi guys, Im not one to post asking "how much HP" or "what 1/4 will I run" but for the sake of my motor I have to ask. I have a y8 motor with completley stock internals, nothing special but ARP headstuds. I am running a ihi rhb5 from a probe with the HF mani right now at 8lbs. I am going to get it tuned soon and my guess is that right now Im sitting at about 160whp, but I really have no idea. My question is, do you think bumping it up to 10lbs and getting it tuned will exceed 200whp? I dont want to end up with more than 180 maybe 190 becuase the stock rods only hold about 200. Here is my setup:
d16y8
obd1 swap- running a p28
VAFC hack with dsm 450's
IHI rhb5 with HF mani
2" charge piping
DSM bov and smic
Adj FPR right now its at 35psi w/ vacuum line on (should I change this?)

Easy on the "bumps" killer. Those suckers are only spaced out by half an hour.
And I don't think you will see over 200whp unless you have another power adder, such as port work. I wouldn't worry though; I think you have the stock rods underestimated. They should hold closer to 300hp.

yes u can, i boosted my stock d15b7 with an IHI RHB5, and it put out 192whp @ 9psi and about 10:1 afr. and i think anywhere around 250whp is pretty much the limit on the d16 rods.
