Isnt there a snap ring that holds it in?

i'm unsure what you mean by plastic cased bearing, but if you are talking about the bearing that goes under the mainshaft? or the oen above it?

for the one in the bellhousing below the countershaft, i had to buy a bearing puller to get it out, i know others that could just hit the other side with a rubber mallet and ti would pop out, but mine was stuck in there. I then bought a new oil difuser thing as it got destroyed as i pulled out the bearing.

snap ring holds the casings together, you pop it open to get the case open so you can get to the counter and input shaft.

Its the one that the main shaft sits on in the bellhousing. i tried hitting it on the other side with a plastic mallet and it didn't pop out. I guess I'm gonna go invest in an inside bearing puller. Is the oil diffuser that plastic thing that sits inside the bearing?

yep, oil diffuser is that little plastic piece inside it of the bearing. you need to just get a bearing puller. some people's just pop out, others you have to get the puller and hten when putting a new one in, you have to beat the **** out of it going into it.
